Writing Responsible Product Listings
Create useful descriptions without unsupported potency, medical, legal, or effect claims.
Use verified facts
Prioritize format, size, count, ingredients, batch identifiers, and laboratory values supported by current records. Attribute cultivar or terpene information when supplied rather than presenting assumptions as facts.
Avoid promises
Do not claim a product treats disease, guarantees an experience, is legal everywhere, or will pass every test. Separate descriptive supplier language from independently verified information.
Maintain the listing
Review copy when the batch, formulation, hardware, packaging, supplier, or law changes. Archive replaced information so inquiries can be traced to what visitors saw.
Editorial boundaries
