Vape Hardware Procurement Checklist
Questions to ask about hardware, oil, testing, leakage, and minimum quantities.
Separate oil and hardware
Document the device capacity, coil, materials, charging method, activation style, and oil formulation independently. A single product name rarely provides enough information to evaluate both components.
Request reliability data
Ask about leak, clog, short-fill, and dead-on-arrival rates, plus the replacement process. Confirm how long filled devices were stored before testing and whether results cover the same hardware revision.
Review documentation
Obtain finished-oil potency and contaminant results, ingredient disclosures, hardware certifications where applicable, and packaging warnings. Never infer device safety from a cannabinoid COA alone.
